Academy

In our lives as Christians, we all have personal encounters with God. One of the ways we do this is through studying His book - The Bible.

At the Academy we offer various courses, all with the same aim: to get you closer to God through His Word, and in doing so, help you learn to know God's will for you, which is 'good and pleasing and perfect' (Romans 12:2).

Discover-e courses each take place over 6 weeks, usually meeting for 2 hours on Tuesday evenings, throughout the year. Bible Academ-e modules last 6 weeks as well. The content varies but is always directly relevant to our maturing in the things of God and to what is happening in the life of Eternity.

Our two conferences, Courageous Chicks in the autumn and the Mens' Conference in the spring, are high points of focused teaching, often with visiting speakers.

If we have visiting speakers in our Sunday Services, they often offer us one off seminars on Saturdays or Sunday afternoons. These are advertised well in advance so keep watching the website for details.

The Academy exists to create the opportunity for everyone to be trained and ready; for their daily lives, their life in the wider community and their involvement with a world that needs to hear about God's love. So check out the courses coming up, and sign up soon!
